저녁 아르바이트의 종류를 살펴보면 편의점(21.8%), 호프집 등 서빙(16.5%), 물류센터(12.2%), 생산직 알바(8.8%), PC방(7.5%)이 상위 3위 안에 들었다. 이어 택배 상·하차(7.8%), 일반 가게케어 및 판매(5.9%), 커피 전문점(3.8%), 마트·유통점(2.9%), 사무직(1.2%) 등 순이었다.
50년 동안 여행사에서 일한 43살 남성 고상훈(가명)은 코로나19로 여행업계가 줄줄이 쓰러지면서 작년 9월 회사 동료 2분의 1을 권고사직으로 잃었다. 바로 이후에도 상태은 나아지지 않아서 고상훈마저 전년 4월부터 무급휴직에 들어갔다가 이달 들어 퇴사했다.
조사결과 '원하는 시간과 요일에 일을 하기 위해서' 초장기알바를 선호한다는 답변이 복수선택 응답률 66.4%로 가장 높았다. 이어 '학교나 학원, 직장 등 본업과 병행하기 위해서' 장기알바생를 선호한다는 답변도 59.5%로 절반이상으로 많았다.
